Class of 1978 30th Reunion
Updated 6/11/2008
Our 30th Reunion was a great event! It was hot in craggy Ithaca, but everyone had a great time.
If you were at Reunion, please feel free to send in thoughts, pictures, video, whatever. We'll post them for you and those who couldn't make it! Check back for what you and your classmates have to share.

At Reunions one can walk around campus with one's friends, family and/or children, make new friends, revisit spots where memories were made.
It's a great time to enjoy Ithaca and all the new things it has to offer.

Tour new parts of Cornell or just do whatever you'd like in the beautiful area where we went to school.
In the past, we have:
- rowed on Beebe Lake
-
- had a BBQ on the lake or at the Plantations,
- toured wineries
- danced to live bands after having a lovely and delicious sit-down class dinner
- met new friends and caught up with old friends
-
- networked
- had a great time in college town or at Cornelliana night
- enjoyed touring new parts of campus and revisiting old familiar places
-
- run in the Reunion run
- attended great lectures
-
- had a great cocktail reception at The Johnson museum
to name a few things.
There are always fun activities planned for families, too. Of course nights in the tents on the Arts Quad, with dancing to live bands, is always a highlight. It is fun to meet fellow Cornellians from a lot of other classes who are having reunions at the same time. No matter what your personal idea of a great reunion is, you can realize it back in Ithaca with your classmates!

Think of what you remember about Cornell...is it sports? Studying in Olin or Uris Libe? Libe Slope? Straight breaks? College town? Music? Greek functions? Concerts? Your first apartment? Clubs? Friends? Professors? Please write to us and tell us.

Watch this page for Reunion information. If anyone has any good photos or memories from past reunions, we would also like to hear from you.

A great Reunion is made by the people who attend as well as the Reunion planners! You will be able to register online and we will be posting the names of those planning to attend. Why not make it your goal to get back in touch with old friends and arrange your schedules so you can all enjoy Reunion together?

Those who have attended reunions previously have found it to be very worthwhile.
We hope to hear from as many of our fellow classmates as possible so we can plan a Reunion with something for everyone!
